In this digital painting, the boulders, like birds in a rookery, live together in a colony of rocks.  Although the original shot was of a wooded area, the image I felt and painted was of an underwater scene, with waving sea grasses and brightly colored boulders.  Shot with a Canon Powershot Pro 1 camera.
