I stood on a hill and looked down at the town below me, with its houses and churches and trees, and thought about all the people living in those houses.  I shot the scene and later on I thought of a song that I heard many years ago called "Little Boxes".  Indeed all those houses and churches did look like little colorful boxes and so I created this digitally painted image.  Shot with a Canon Powershot SD950 camera in Spencer, WV.
