This is the fourth of a series of 6 digital paintings of an expressionist vision of a river scene. The river is the West Fork of the Little Kanawha, and it flows through the region of West Virginia where I live. I love to walk along its banks, and sometimes in it when the water is low enough for the sandbars in it to be exposed. There I can dream and feel the spirit of the untouched waters. After heavy rains, the water runs wild and I dream vivid colors. This is what I show in these paintings. Shot with a Canon XSi camera. Chosen for Carnegie Hall's 2012 Season of Colors Juried Art Exhibition - Lewisburg, WV
