This is part of a series of flower close-ups.  I am interested in the variety of shapes that close-up shots can portray.  Here the shapes seem to me to be like a crown of lights - almost like the lights of fireworks, except that lights of this flower are blessedly silent.  Shot with a Canon XSi camera.
